HVAC Project Engineer

Job Duties

• Involves all facets of the project, from up-front coordination during the design process through execution and closeout
• A significant portion of the position involves office support to the field to ensure efficient installations
• Communicates with customers, suppliers, and other team members
• Reviews submittals for completeness and compliance with drawings
• Processes submittals and keeps the project team informed of schedule needs
• Works closely with the Project Manager, Engineering, and Field Leads throughout the project
• Handles Request for Information (RFI) reviews, writing, logging, submitting, and tracking
• Understands scope changes in design documents
• Files project documentation
• Understands and communicates project schedule needs to subcontractors and suppliers
• Assembles operation and maintenance manuals
• Visits job sites approximately once per month to ensure projects are on track

Qualifications

• A Construction Management or Engineer degree is a plus, but not required
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
