Responsibilities
- Provide the highest level of service to resolve building inefficiencies and address service-related issues.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering solutions and outcomes during service visits.
- Participate in certified training through the Service Technical Academy (STA) to build skill sets and advance career opportunities.
- Develop troubleshooting and customer needs resolution skills through coaching and mentorship.
- Keep stakeholders informed about job progress and issues as necessary.
- Maintain attendance for required Union training during the first year.
- Offer recommendations and solutions to enhance facility efficiency, including upselling opportunities.
- Prepare quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
Requirements
- Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
- At least 1+ years of industry experience or equivalent experience in servicing mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
- General knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems, facilities management systems, site preparation, and peripheral equipment installation and servicing techniques.
- Effective interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and external contacts.
- Leadership skills to support mechanics on non-complex, non-critical mechanical HVAC equipment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize safety in all aspects of the job.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Prior experience in a trade school or college with a technical emphasis is preferred.
