HVAC Mechanic II
About the role
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to independently perform preventive maintenance, diagnose system issues, and complete repairs and installations on residential heating and air conditioning equipment. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform PMAs, repairs, and installations independently.
- Diagnose and repair common residential HVAC system issues.
- Replace HVAC components including motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, and other system components.
- Educate customers on system operation, maintenance, and repair recommendations.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.
- Assist in training and supporting HVAC Mechanic I employees.
- Maintain productivity and customer satisfaction expectations.
Requirements
- EPA Certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to complete most service calls independently.
- Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and company procedures.
