Job Summary

Qualifications
Area of concentration in the HVAC trade. Operate, maintain, trouble-shoot, and repair central chiller plant equipment, air handling units, and refrigeration equipment.
Maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, refrigeration units, and associated controls.
Perform general maintenance and construction functions as directed by supervisor.
Document preventative maintenance performed on assigned equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of hospital electromechanical equipment and systems.
Education & Experience
High School Graduate or GED.
Vocational/technical training.
Significant related experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
2 years related experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Demonstrated success and abilities in leadership, achieving results, communications, customer service, and health care management.
Licenses/Certifications
Refrigeration Certificate.
