About the role
Valley Heating & Cooling, a Southern Home Services Company, is seeking a dynamic HVAC Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
- Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems - air handling units, ductwork, vents, condensation drainage
- Perform routine service work on HVAC systems
- Provide a top-notch customer experience and effectively communicate with homeowners
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- EPA Certification
- 1+ Years of HVAC experience, preferably in the residential market
- Great Attitude with a Dedication to Quality Work
- Customer Service Oriented
- Able to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
- Adaptable, flexible, and innovative team player
- Strong Troubleshooting and Critical Thinking Skills
Physical Requirements
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces
- Driving
- Entering crawlspaces
- Pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces
- Standing, walking, sitting; talking or hearing, both in person and by telephone
- Using hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reaching with hands and arms
