HVAC Maintenance Tech - Plant Engineering, Days - Summerville

About the role

This position is located at our Augusta facility on Wrightsboro Rd.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Maintaining the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment.
• Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.), chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV's, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Work Experience: 3 years of Maintenance Tech experience to include HVAC experience. Experience may be substituted if graduate from a HVAC program (Required 1 year). For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program.
• Licenses and Certifications: EPA - Universal Certification Required; DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State – Valid state issued driver's license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy.
