HVAC Instructor

About the role

As an HVACR Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in heating and air conditioning systems and components will guide them toward a promising career in various industries. We emphasize hands-on learning, so you'll engage in interactive teaching to inspire the next generation to master modern HVACR technology.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' passion for the HVACR industry while imparting expert knowledge.
• Provide practical demonstrations and hands-on training in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
• Collaborate with the education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones aligned with industry trends.
• Mentor students on projects, encouraging critical thinking and innovative solutions.
• Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of practical work experience in refrigeration, commercial, residential, mini splits, boilers, or related fields (teaching experience excluded).
• EPA 608/Universal certification; OSHA 10-30 highly valued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students and staff.
• Patience and empathy, recognizing that students learn at their own pace.
