HVAC Instructor
About the role
As an HVACR Instructor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and skills of our students. Your expertise in heating and cooling systems and components will guide them toward a promising career in various industries. We emphasize hands-on learning, so you'll engage in interactive teaching to inspire the next generation to conquer the challenges of modern HVACR technology.
Responsibilities
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can flourish, fostering their passion for the HVACR industry while imparting your expert knowledge.
- Provide practical demonstrations and lead hands-on training in diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Collaborate with our education team to enhance existing courses and develop new ones that align with industry trends and advancements.
- Guide and mentor students on their projects, encouraging critical thinking and innovative solutions.
- Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices to ensure a secure working environment for students.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4 years of practical work experience in the HVACR field within the last 10 years.
- EPA 608/Universal certification is highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and staff.
- A patient and empathetic approach to teaching, recognizing that students learn at their own pace.
