HVAC Installer/Service Technician

About the role

In this position you will be given the opportunity to perform installations, service, repair, and maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems for the Johnson County community and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Evaluate the present conditions of equipment from all age ranges and manufacturers.
• Diagnose HVAC system failures and determine the extent of repairs needed.
• Educate and present homeowners with HVAC system repair and replacement options.
• Present financing options.
• Navigate Service Titan, presenting invoices and estimates via an iPad.
• Learn the One Hour sales system and ethical practices.
• Maintain a neat work area and inspect for cleanliness after each job.
• Convey a safety‑conscious attitude on the job and while driving.
• Practice safe and respectful habits while in the client’s home.
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring it is clean inside and out.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preference (not required): 3‑5 years prior successful experience as an HVAC technician.
• EPA Core and Type II certification required.
• Strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record.

Pay

$25‑$35 per hour (approximately $52,000‑$70,000 per year).
