About the role
Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Licensed HVAC Technician to support operations at an Anheuser-Busch manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, and chilled water systems.
This full-time day-shift position focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and responding to mechanical issues that impact facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Service and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, chilled water systems, air handlers, ventilation equipment, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Clean, inspect, and replace filters, belts, motors, and other HVAC components.
- Calibrate and maintain pneumatic control systems and related equipment.
- Inspect and maintain ductwork, ventilation systems, grilles, and exhaust equipment.
- Respond to equipment failures and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work-order documentation.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and supplies needed to support daily operations.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and facility standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas HVAC Technician License.
- Minimum 10 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
- Hands-on experience with rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, and chilled water systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, brewery, industrial, or large commercial facilities.
- EPA Certification.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or HVAC controls.
- Additional HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical certifications.
Pay
Compensation: $38 - $40 per hour.
