- Humble: You put the team's success above your own ego, value feedback, and are always willing to learn.
- Hungry: You are self‑motivated, take initiative, and are eager to go the extra mile for your team and our clients.
- People Smart: You communicate clearly, listen actively, and foster positive relationships with coworkers, apprentices, and clients.
What you’ll do
- Own the install: load/unload equipment, cut sheet metal, assemble components, and install ductwork, gas and condensate piping, and venting—safely and to code.
- Wire it right: install and troubleshoot low‑voltage controls and wiring to bring systems online smoothly.
- Build from the plan: read blueprints (pre‑drawn or field‑laid) and translate them into accurate, efficient layouts.
- Cut with confidence: core and cut openings while protecting structural integrity and jobsite safety.
- Stay two steps ahead: keep materials and truck stock organized; communicate needs to prevent return trips.
- Lead when needed: manage tasks and crews to keep timelines on track; help train apprentices and fellow installers.
- Live our safety culture: model and uphold the DJ Safety Culture so every teammate and partner goes home safe.
