About the role
F6 is a rapidly growing HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing company supporting hyperscale data center infrastructure. We are seeking Field Service Technicians to support the startup, commissioning support, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers.
Responsibilities
- Support startup and commissioning activities for cooling systems including CRAH, CRAC, IRHX, DAHU.
- Execute pre-functional equipment checks.
- Assist with functional commissioning tests.
- Verify equipment installation and piping connections.
- Maintain organized documentation and equipment records.
- Complete startup checklists, commissioning documentation, equipment inspection reports, and end of day reports.
- Document and report on equipment conditions and system performance during startup activities.
- Participate in daily safety meetings.
- Coordinate with startup leads and senior technicians.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Communicate effectively with team members using Microsoft Teams.
Qualifications
- 3-7 years' experience working with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
- Experience working with hydronic systems preferred.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Reliable transportation required for local travel when applicable.
- Willingness to fly to work regions.

- Experience in commercial HVAC service.
- Experience in data center infrastructure.
- Experience in industrial equipment service.
- Experience as a controls technician.
- Experience as a chiller technician.
- Experience with turbocor compressor systems.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in active construction environments.

- Ability to work extended hours during critical startup periods.

Field Service Technicians work in a fast-paced environment supporting startups and troubleshooting complex systems in mission-critical environments. They may require travel up to 100% based on project assignments.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $40 – $48 per hour, with travel costs covered by the company and per diem provided for food.
