About the role
The Long Island City based 638B HVAC Contractor is seeking an experienced equipment replacement specialist to join its Mechanical Team.
Responsibilities
- Estimating, planning, mobilizing, and managing unit replacement projects
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems
- Surveying existing field conditions and preparing cost estimates for system replacements
- Aiding in the purchasing of equipment and subcontractor services
- Approving equipment submittals before release from manufacturers/supply houses
- Outlining a timeline for AFGO labor and subcontractors
- Oversight of labor productivity to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on technical field experience in HVAC systems
- Familiarity with Package Units, Split Systems, and Cooling Towers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics for Field Service is preferred
