Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Provide technical support to engineers and other team members in research, development, testing, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct complex tests, experiments, and validation procedures on equipment, systems, and components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
- Analyze and interpret test data, identifying trends, anomalies, and correlations to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the engineering team.
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth project progression.
- Manage and maintain advanced technical equipment, instrumentation, and laboratory facilities, ensuring proper functioning and calibration to support engineering activities.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing test procedures, results, and conclusions for internal review.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards throughout the engineering process, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, technicians, and project managers, fostering a collaborative work environment, and sharing technical expertise.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings in engineering operations.
- Ability to locate diagrams and drawings independently within the AAON database.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in HVAC
- EPA 608 and A2L certification
- Two-year HVAC degree from a technical school
- Recommended 4-6 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry

- Facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
- Lift up to 50 lbs., climbing, stooping, sitting, or standing for prolonged periods.
