Join our multi-disciplinary design team as an HVAC Designer, contributing to impactful commercial, residential, and institutional projects with competitive pay.
Job Details
Draft HVAC construction drawings including details, plans, and sections
Perform HVAC load and energy calculations
Design HVAC systems and select appropriate equipment
Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
Cookordinate with other engineering and architectural trades during design
Develop details, equipment schedules, and specifications
Research and assess building performance, codes, and regulations
Contribute to design discussions and carry concepts through to project drawings
Support sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
Cookordinate and communicate effectively with team members
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting
Minimum 5 years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff
Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required
PE license not required but a plus
