HVAC Data Center Mechanical Service Apprentice Technician (Union)

About the Role

We are looking for an entry-level HVAC systems apprentice with some experience in residential, light commercial, and/or HVAC education to join our team. You will work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition, monetary rewards, and advancement opportunities. You will be equipped with top-of-the-line technology, tools, a vehicle, uniforms, and a strong focus on employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Work with skilled and experienced Journeyman HVAC Mechanics in a variety of commercial and industrial equipment settings.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Participate in training provided via mentors, in-person classes, and an online training course.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of work experience in the HVAC industry.
• Completion of HVAC education courses.

Pay

$19.55 - $23.50 hourly, determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) rate sheet.

Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement. This position is subject to all pre-hiring screening by JCI. With successful performance, JCI may recommend you to the Union Local apprenticeship program and continued employment at JCI. Acceptance by the Union Local must occur within 365 days of employment.
