HVAC Controls Technician

About the role

Design, configure, and operate complete heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration building control systems to meet project requirements. Work directly with customers to develop or replace HVAC control systems, troubleshoot problems, advise on repairs, or train customers on system controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure building control systems as defined by contract documents.
• Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics as required.
• Develop and test software programs necessary to operate the system per project requirements.
• Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installations.
• Assist in performing site-specific training for clients or customers on control systems.
• Perform value engineering to provide cost-effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• BACnet experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of related work experience in a commercial property setting.
• Current valid PA driver’s license.
