HVAC Controls Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in commercial buildings. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and perform emergency repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings
• Perform preventive maintenance checks
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC system malfunctions
• Install new HVAC components as necessary
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Experience with HVAC diagnostic tools

Skills

• Proficient in HVAC systems
• Knowledgeable in electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Note: This is a full-time position.
