About the role

Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for keeping vital systems running smoothly? The City of Plano is looking for an HVAC/Building Systems Technician or Senior HVAC/Building Systems Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our City’s essential infrastructure! In this hands-on role, you'll conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, boilers, and cooling towers, ensuring everything runs at peak performance. You'll also perform routine inspections and minor repairs on fire suppression systems, alarms, access control, emergency backup systems, and more—helping to keep our community safe and operational.

Pay

The successful candidate may be offered a position in either the HVAC/Building Systems Technician or the Senior HVAC/Building Systems Technician classification.

• HVAC/Building Systems Technician: $25.21 - $31.51 per hour
• Senior HVAC/Building Systems Technician: $27.79 - $34.74 per hour
