HVAC BAS TechnicianFort Lauderdale, FL | $38–$43 per hourAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Technician to program, configure, install, and troubleshoot building management systems and HVAC controls.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience programming BAS platforms, setting up controllers, and ensuring building automation systems operate efficiently.ResponsibilitiesProgram, configure, and modify Building Management Systems (BMS).Set up controllers, sensors, and HVAC control equipment.Troubleshoot BAS software, HVAC controls, wiring, and communication networks.Calibrate sensors and adjust control loops for optimal performance.Install, wire, and integrate new control devices and equipment.Perform system upgrades, backups, testing, startups, and commissioning.Maintain service records and communicate professionally with customers.RequirementsHands-on experience programming and setting up BAS or BMS systems.Knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical circuits, low-voltage wiring, and IP networks.Familiarity with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Trane.Ability to use electrical meters, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.Technical training or relevant hands-on experience preferred.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Paid vacation and federal holidays.401(k) with company match.Company gas card and company credit card.Career growth opportunities.
