HVAC Assembler
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We must include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have:
- About the role: we have description of company and role: "Knorr Brake Company is the innovative leader..." and description of HVAC Assembler duties. Could be placed under About the role.
- Responsibilities: list of essential functions: maintain safe environment, comply with rules, conduct prebuild inspections, assemble components, prepare surfaces, inform supervisor, monitor shelf life, follow disposal methods, provide support, etc. Could be list.
- Requirements: maybe technical competencies? The posting includes "Technical Competencies" and "Core Competencies". Could be considered Requirements/Qualifications/Skills. We need to decide.
We have "Technical Competencies: Technical Capacity: Must be able to follow work instruction and be able to use drawings Mechanical Aptitude: equipment maintenance, mechanical inspection tools and tooling Time Management to ensure equipment is ready for scheduled repair or overhaul Problem Solving and Decision Making (in making job decisions, the incumbent is guided by policy, routine and procedures)". That's more like skills.
"Core Competencies: Efficiency... Quality... Methodology... Commitment... Teamwork". Those are also competencies.
We could put them under Skills or Requirements.
We have Pay: "The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Westminster, MD is $18.14 to $19.63 per hour." So we have Pay section.
Benefits: description of healthcare, 401k, vacation, personal paid absence, holidays, parental leave, stock purchase, etc. So Benefits.
Schedule: not mentioned. No schedule info. So we should NOT include Schedule section.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID.
We must remove boilerplate: EEO statement, immigration sponsorship note, etc. Remove duplicated lines.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we need to include company description, role description, essential functions list, technical competencies, core competencies, pay, benefits.
We need to format using headings and - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose.
We need to decide which sections to include: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (maybe combine technical competencies?), Qualifications (maybe not needed), Skills (maybe core competencies?), Benefits, Pay.
We must not create sections with filler. So we need actual content.
Let's structure:

We have duplicated lines about maintaining safe environment etc. We'll keep one.
Now Technical Competencies and Core Competencies could be under Skills or Requirements. Let's decide: maybe "Skills" for technical competencies, and "Requirements" for core competencies? But both are competencies. Could combine under "Skills". However we need to avoid thin sections. Could have one section "Skills" containing both technical and core competencies as lists.
But we need to use - for any list. So we can have two lists under Skills: Technical Competencies and Core Competencies.
Alternatively we could have "Requirements" for technical competencies and "Skills" for core competencies. But we need to ensure we have substantive content.
Let's do:
Skills
Technical Competencies
but we cannot use h4? The instruction only says use for section headings. It didn't forbid other headings, but we should stick to h3 for sections. Could embed subheadings in
or . Safer to just use Technical Competencies:
then list.
Thus:
Skills

Pay:
Pay
The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in Westminster, MD is $18.14 to $19.63 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Knorr Brake Company is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
We should not include Schedule.
Now ensure we removed boilerplate: EEO statement, immigration sponsorship note, etc. Also removed duplicated lines like "Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure the compliance with the company's rules and policies." repeated.
Check for any leftover boilerplate: The paragraph about "Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please note: At this time, we are not able to offer immigration sponsorship for new hires. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment-based visa sponsorship." That's boilerplate; remove.
Also "This is intended to provide a general description of benefits and other compensation and is not a substitute for applicable plan documents or company policies." That's also boilerplate; we can keep maybe as part of benefits? It's generic; but it's not specific info. Might be considered boilerplate; better to remove.
Also "Hired applicant will be able to purchase company stock, subject to the relevant plan documents and annual bonuses based on achievement of certain metrics." Already captured.
Now ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: The technical competencies list includes "Technical Capacity: Must be able to follow work instruction and be able to use drawings Mechanical Aptitude: equipment maintenance, mechanical inspection tools and tooling Time Management to ensure equipment is ready for scheduled repair or overhaul Problem Solving and Decision Making (in making job decisions, the incumbent is guided by policy, routine and procedures)". We split into items.
Check we didn't lose "Must be able to comply with quality, product safety, and HSE rules, guidelines and regulations." Already in responsibilities.
Check "Be energy conscious, if applicable." included.
Check "Maintain and safeguard business records." included.
Check "Inform supervisor of any part or equipment defects noted during the cleaning process." included.
Check "Monitor the shelf life of any consumables used to complete the build process." included.
Check "Follow all established disposal methods associated with consumable material." included.
Check "Provide support and assistance to other technicians and team members, as directed, and any other duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or Sr. Personnel." included.
Check "Additional Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions." That's a boilerplate about accommodations; could be considered substantive? It's a statement about reasonable accommodations. Might be considered EEO/legal. Probably remove as boiler
