HVAC Area Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Operations Manager.
• Manages Technicians.
• Supervises and develops technician workforce.
• Affirmatively participates in recruiting and hiring of Technicians.
• Ensures Technician productivity meets or exceeds goals.
• Maintains market work level to support Technicians.
• Handles escalated service issues.
• Develops training plan for all assigned Technicians.
• Supports and evaluates the quality of work for Technicians.
• Conducts ride-alongs with Technicians.
• Performs annual Technician reviews.
• Acts as a positive role model for Technicians.
• Protects the company's image and reputation.
• Conducts weekly service meetings.
• Communicates goals and performance scores to Technicians.
• Reviews and inspects vans and equipment.
• Discusses safety topics weekly.
• Oversees new customer requirements and callbacks.

Requirements

• At least 10 years as an HVAC Service Technician, with management experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge to provide value to technicians and customers.
• Continuous education in the technical field.
• Professional communication skills with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds, maneuver a 32-foot ladder, and climb ladders multiple times.
• Ability to drive extended hours for calls, up to 8-10 hours per day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in HVAC industry or other service business.

Pay

USD $95,000.00/Yr. USD $115,000.00/Yr.
