HVAC Apprentice

This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop the skills needed for a successful long-term career in residential HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians and installers with residential service and installation projects
• Load, unload, verify, and transport equipment, materials, and tools needed for daily assignments
• Support the installation and replacement of residential HVAC systems, including Air conditioners, Furnaces, Ductwork, Thermostats, Ductless mini-split systems, Air filtration systems, Zoning systems and dampers, Low- and high-voltage wiring
• Utilize hand tools, ladders, gauges, recovery machines, and other HVAC equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory levels
• Follow all company safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and national codes
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to advance technical knowledge and certifications

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn a skilled trade
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently once trained
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, garages, and on rooftops
• Climb ladders and work at varying heights
• Bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred
