Are you mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and looking to build a rewarding career in the HVAC industry? Plumbline Services is seeking motivated HVAC Apprentices to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on training, work alongside experienced professionals, and develop the skills needed for a successful long-term career in residential HVAC.
Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC technicians and installers with residential service and installation projects
- Load, unload, verify, and transport equipment, materials, and tools needed for daily assignments
- Support the installation and replacement of residential HVAC systems, including Air conditioners, Furnaces, Ductwork, Thermostats, Ductless mini-split systems, Air filtration systems, Zoning systems and dampers, Low- and high-voltage wiring
- Utilize hand tools, ladders, gauges, recovery machines, and other HVAC equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory levels
- Follow all company safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and national codes
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to advance technical knowledge and certifications
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn a skilled trade
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently once trained
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials
- Work in attics, crawl spaces, garages, and on rooftops
- Climb ladders and work at varying heights
- Bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
