HVAC Apprentice

Ocean State Air Solutions is hiring an HVAC Apprentice to support our growing team across residential replacement and new construction projects throughout the East Bay area of Rhode Island. Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of HVAC systems, including equipment setup, ductwork, and system components
• Support lead installers on residential replacement and new construction projects
• Learn how to read basic plans and follow installation instructions
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate with team members and follow directions from lead installers
• Participate in training and actively develop technical skills

Requirements

• Interest in building a career in HVAC
• Prior HVAC, maintenance, or hands-on field experience preferred but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• EPA certification is a plus, but not required (the company can support obtaining it)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and in various weather conditions
• Ability to work well on a team and follow directions

Pay

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, schooling, and skill level
