HVAC Account Manager

About the Role

A leading mechanical services contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and ongoing building systems maintenance is seeking an HVAC Account Manager. This role focuses on developing and maintaining customer relationships, managing sales opportunities through a CRM platform, and identifying opportunities to expand services within existing commercial service and retrofit accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified maintenance, service, and retrofit opportunities to ensure a consistent flow of business.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular follow-up and customer engagement.
• Identify opportunities for additional service offerings and referrals within current accounts.
• Plan and execute sales activities, including prospecting, client meetings, and follow-up on leads.
• Gather project information from building owners, facility managers, developers, and other stakeholders, including project scope, budgets, procurement methods, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare and present proposals, technical information, and service solutions to prospective clients.
• Support the development of bid submissions and customer presentations.
• Assist with resolving customer concerns and supporting the collection of outstanding accounts receivable when required.
• Provide accurate and detailed project handover information to operational teams upon contract award.
