Hutton House Lectures is accepting proposals and applications for future lectures and lecture series offered on Zoom and on our stunning historic campus on the Gold Coast of Long Island. Hutton House Lectures is a distinguished lifelong learning academy at Long Island University, a non-profit private university, that presents over 300 non-credit lectures annually on Zoom and on site in Brookville, New York. Our audience consists primarily of highly educated mature learners who require stimulating lectures with thought leaders who are experts in their field. Our lectures are interdisciplinary and examine areas such as current events, politics, history, fine arts, music appreciation, English literature as well as cutting edge research in the field of health and wellness. Our faculty are from renowned universities and are known experts in their fields. About the role
The Hutton House university educator should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, doctoral degree or equivalent experience in the field.
- Ability to present quantitative and qualitative data and research-based content.
- Ability to impart information in an engaging, entertaining and thought-provoking manner.
- Excellent social and emotional skills are required.
- Knowledge of Zoom or online delivery of content preferred.
