Hunting Sales Outfitter - Part Time

About the role

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery merchandise (non-firearms). This role ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience by assisting customers with buying decisions, promoting programs, and maintaining product expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class customer service, ensuring a legendary experience for every customer.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and providing product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store, replenishing shelves per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain a product expert through ongoing training and stay knowledgeable about advertised sales, pricing, and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked work area.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of retail experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills

• Customer service and sales of Hunting/Archery merchandise (non-firearms).
• Ability to merchandise and stock products.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly stand and/or walk during shift.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
• Occasionally repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Occasionally operate machinery, power tools, or motor vehicles.
• Light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; may occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Occasionally work in tight, confined spaces or noisy environments.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $16.00 - $18.75 per hour.
