Human Services Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Part-Time Human Service Specialist to join the Community Transition Team.

Responsibilities

• Administer and observe urinalysis, breathalyzer, oral fluid, and sweat patch tests
• Provide services aligned with individual service plans
• Participate in recovery teams and offer feedback on client progress
• Assist with medication monitoring tasks such as delivery and education
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with standards
• Collaborate with clients and teams to determine effective interventions
• Attend meetings, staff development, and clinical supervision
• Support client independence through trauma-informed, person-centered practices
• Testify in legal proceedings when required
• Work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to complete background and health checks
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and documentation
• Basic computer skills, including electronic health records and email

Preferred qualifications: at least one year of related experience.
