About the role

The HR Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting plant operations by leading and coordinating a wide range of human resources functions that drive employee engagement, workforce effectiveness, and organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily administration and consistent application of human resources policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance and support operational objectives.
- Leads and coordinates employee onboarding, orientation, training, and development initiatives to support workforce readiness and engagement.
- Administers compensation, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and effective communication to team members.
- Evaluates workforce needs and recommends improvements to HR programs, policies, and processes to enhance employee experience and business performance.
- Assists in the development and management of departmental budgets, providing recommendations related to personnel operations and resource planning.
- Partners with plant leadership to drive employee relations, retention, affirmative action, and workforce engagement initiatives while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Investigates employee concerns, manages corrective action and separation processes, analyzes turnover and absenteeism trends, and supports labor relations activities, including contract administration and representation during hearings or investigations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources related field; however, additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.
- Two years of previous experience in Human Resources leadership preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and employment law.
- Excellent communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with plant leadership, manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and drive HR initiatives that support business objectives and team member engagement.

Schedule
Monday – Friday with occasional weekends.
