About the role

A growing USDA food manufacturer is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR and Safety for a 90-employee processing facility in Powderly, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Full HR function for a 90-employee food processing plant
• Recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, labor relations, and workforce development
• Safety programs, OSHA compliance, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work
• Daily coaching and support for supervisors and hourly employees
• Direct partnership with the Plant Manager and dotted-line reporting to the VP of HR

Requirements

• High School Diploma required (degree a plus)
• Background as an HR Manager, HR Supervisor, HRBP, HR Specialist, or HR Generalist
• Occupational Safety experience is a must
• Union experience a plus

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
