Position Purpose
Aids the HR Manager in improving HR practices and enhancing the employee experience.
Essential Functions
- Assists HR Manager with continuous improvement projects.
- Administers processes including payroll and attendance tracking.
- Manages visitor registration and guest responsibilities.
- Collaborates with supervisors and managers to resolve employee issues.
- Oversees internal and external recruiting, including position requirements, phone screens, and interviews.
- Supports the implementation and management of the Hendrickson production training program.
- Maintains a positive workplace culture through regular interactions and events.
- Ensures HR records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Delivers training to all associates and manages annual training requirements.
- Handles benefits administration, including answering questions and providing orientations.
Education and Training
- Four-year degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- SHRM or PRM certification preferred but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in recruiting, both hourly and salary.
- Experience in a team or participative workforce environment is preferred.
- Excellent PC skills, including work processing, spreadsheet, and presentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time.
Physical Demands
- Constant sitting.
- Occasional standing, walking, and balancing.
- Minimal bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
- Lifting up to 5 lbs. approximately 25 feet.
- Pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs. of force 5 feet.
