About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, from recruitment to compliance, ensuring that our workforce is engaged, compliant, and empowered.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage job postings, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process to attract top talent.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and manage the termination process when necessary.
• Assist employees in enrolling in health benefits and provide ongoing support for any related inquiries.
• Collaborate with management to develop and maintain an employee handbook that aligns with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with state and local regulations.
• Address employee complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and local regulations concerning employment practices in the cannabis industry.
• Work with management to develop and implement employee performance review processes that promote growth and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a human resources management role, preferably within the cannabis or regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prioritization of handling sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
