Who You Are
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university with an expected graduate date between December 2027 and Summer 2028
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Interest in Human Resources, talent, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, or related areas, and curious to learn how HR supports partners, business objectives, and organizational success
- Proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills through course work and/or previous internship experience
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects and extracurricular involvement
What You'll Do
As an intern at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to build relevant skills, work on meaningful projects, and participate in a collaborative program designed to support your early career development. You will work directly with your team on day-to-day tasks while joining internship program events to develop new skills, network with senior leaders, and connect with fellow interns in the program. Through hands-on experience, meaningful project work, and exposure to a dynamic global business, you will begin to see how your interests can grow into a long-term career at Northern Trust.
A recruiter will work with you to determine the best team placement given your interests, skill set, and relevant experience.

What You'll Gain

- Analyze HR data to identify trends and develop insights that support decision-making and program effectiveness
- Contribute to inclusion and employee experience initiatives that foster a culture of belonging and support partner development
- Partner with team members to improve processes, documentation, dashboards, or tools that enhance the delivery of talent and development programs
- Conduct research on industry trends and best practices related to talent management, leadership development, learning, and inclusion, and share recommendations with the team

Pay
Salary is $30.00 USD per hour.
