Key Responsibilities
- Screens resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates to fill job vacancies.
- Coincides candidate interviews and testing.
- Posts job advertisements to job boards and social media platforms.
- Manages pre-employment process, onboarding, scheduling background checks & drug tests.
- Coordinates new hire orientations.
- Daily manages ATS, and various other HR tools.
- I-9 verification.
- Tracks progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects.
- Maintains a satisfied level of customer service.
- Properly handles requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation.
- Aids in benefit administration using our HRIS software.
- Working towards completing your Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources.
- Working knowledge of labor laws.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications.
- Understanding of common rule HR practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative, organizational and planning skills.
- Exceptional written and communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Personable, able to comfortably deal with a variety of people.
- Able to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Work proactively with other team members.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook.
- The setting for this position is in our main office building.
- If travel is required to complete your job duties, you will be recompensated appropriately (mileage reimbursement, etc).
