About the role
The Human Resource Intern at Invio Automation will gain hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines, including recruiting, employee engagement, onboarding, training, HR compliance, and HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining employee records and HR files.
- Support data entry and audits within HR systems.
- Help prepare HR reports, presentations, and employee communications.
- Aid in onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation activities.
- Support HR compliance initiatives and document management.
- Assist with recruiting and talent acquisition:
- Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting metrics.
- Support ongoing HR initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, wellness, training, and culture.
- Assist with research, benchmarking, and data collection for HR programs.
- Develop training materials, employee resources, and process documentation as needed.
- Participate in special projects related to talent development, employee experience, and organizational initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement and culture:
- Absorb employee recognition programs and engagement activities.
- Coordinate company events.
- Support employee surveys and feedback initiatives (exit interviews, onboarding surveys).
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Prior HR internship, work, leadership, or campus involvement experience required.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Initiative and willingness to learn.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Professionalism and positive attitude.
- Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, or other recruiting platforms is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS platforms is a plus (i.e. Paycor).
- Interest in Human Resources, recruiting, employee relations, or organizational development is a plus.
