About the role
At honeygrow, the Human Resources Intern supports the Human Resources team in various day-to-day operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting tasks, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
- Support new-hire onboarding, including paperwork, orientation logistics, and system setup.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Aid in day-to-day HR administrative tasks and correspondence.
- Research HR best practices and support policy or process documentation.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Support employee engagement initiatives or events.
Requirements
- Current honeygrow employee, or pursuing/recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Eager to learn and a collaborative attitude.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
