Description ROLE AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The HR Intern is a full-time, three-month internship designed to provide hands-on experience supporting a variety of Human Resources functions while partnering closely with members of the HR team. This role provides exposure to employee relations, recruiting, HR operations, and strategic HR projects. During the first two weeks, the HR Intern will participate in training with the HR Generalist to learn HR processes, systems, policies, and the day-to-day operations of the HR function. Following the initial training period, the intern will begin managing entry-level HR responsibilities while gaining exposure to broader HR initiatives. This internship provides the opportunity to develop practical HR skills, build relationships across the organization, and explore different areas of Human Resources based on individual interests and business needs. Support entry-level employee relations activities, including responding to routine employee questions and assisting with HR-related requestsManage the HR inbox by reviewing, prioritizing, and routing inquiries to the appropriate HR team memberAssist with HR documentation, tracking, and follow-up activitiesMaintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee informationGain exposure to various HR projects and initiatives across the organizationAssist the HR team with project coordination, research, reporting, and process improvementsPartner with HR team members to support the successful completion of key initiativesSupport recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and talent acquisition initiatives as assignedWork alongside the HR Business Partner to gain exposure to employee relations matters, manager support, and workplace initiativesContinue partnering with the HR Generalist on process improvements, HR projects, and initiatives that support the overall employee experiencePerforms other duties as assignedALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act.
