Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Direct all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, leave administration, compliance, safety, and HRIS systems
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and standard operating practices
  • Ensure data security and confidentiality of employee information
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
  • Develop recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified talent
  • Oversee hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation processes
  • Lead workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
  • Promote employee engagement and leadership development programs
  • Employee Relations
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action
  • Lead complex employee relations matters and workplace investigations
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes and update policies as needed
  • Oversee internal audits and compliance reviews
  • Manage unemployment claims and administrative agency responses
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Develop and administer compensation strategies ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, open enrollment, and vendor relationships
  • Evaluate compensation and benefits programs and recommend improvements
  • Ensure benefits compliance and employee communication requirements are met
  • Performance Management & Organizational Development
  • Develop and manage performance management systems
  • Support leadership coaching, performance improvement, and employee development
  • Lead training and leadership development initiatives
  • Promote continuous learning and professional growth
  • Safety & Leave Administration
  • Oversee workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
  • Ensure OSHA reporting and compliance requirements are met
  • Administer FMLA, ADA, PFML, and other leave programs
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and compliance
  • Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise HR, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll/Benefits staff
  • Recruit, train, and develop HR team members
  • Set departmental goals and monitor performance
  • Provide operational support as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Required Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field
    • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience
    • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
    • Experience in employee relations, investigations, compliance, and HR operations
    • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems
    • Experience developing HR policies and procedures
