We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to support Silverstone Living and its affiliates including Hunt Community, The Huntington at Nashua, At Home by Hunt, and Webster at Rye.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer New Hire Paperwork and Orientation Policies, Procedures, I-9 compliance
- Assist associates whenever possible with requests and/or information; answer questions and address concerns in a timely manner with a customer service approach
- Create and update Human Resources bulletin boards and other posting locations as needed; utilize online messaging including e-mail and voicefriend resources
- Maintain accurate and updated associate files
- Explain and assist with elements of various benefit programs to associates as required; assist with enrollment elections and claims processing
- Assist with associate relations events and recognition (e.g., Associate of the Quarter, Leader of the Quarter, Scholarship Awards, Birthday/Anniversary Cards and lists, celebration parties)
- Assist with recruitment needs including screening applicants, utilizing application tracking tool, coordinating pre-selection activities (physical, drug testing, reference check, TB testing tracking) to ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- Respond to interviewed applicants in a timely manner and update ATS system
- Prepare correspondence, memos, and flyers as needed
- Track referral bonus and anniversary bonus recipients
- Provide assistance to the administration of the payroll process
- Monitor and track performance appraisals, check-ins, and In Services
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- Stay current on government requirements and laws (poster compliance)
- Provide administrative support to the HR department (research, record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entries)
- Measure the success of the HR function and make suggestions and recommendations to improve processes
- Enhanced focus on Dining Servers, Utility, and PCA roles
- Schedule and coordinate New Hire Orientation program on a monthly basis (one at each location per month)
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in Senior Living, Hotel, or Hospital environments preferred
Skills
- Written communication skills to be concise, well-organized, complete, and clear
- Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and pay strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
- Command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, perform repetitive reaching, sitting, and typing
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a full shift
