The Human Resource Associate supports day-to-day employee needs and administers regional human resources programs, plans, and initiatives spanning benefits, compensation, employee relations, training and development, staffing, and work/life. This role also maintains SuccessFactors and HRIS (SAP-HR) data changes for all employees, regardless of employment status.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, interpretation, and application of human resource policies and programs to employees, retirees, and external clients with urgency and confidentiality.
- Maintain HR data for Personnel Actions and Organizational Management with consistent accuracy.
- Participate in onboarding new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Administer and interpret all human resources policies, procedures, standards, programs, and plans for new and existing employees, including management.
- Collaborate with other HR departments to provide accurate information for employee queries.
- Generate and analyze ad hoc reports for leadership, ensuring data accuracy, and recommend enhancements or changes to HR procedures, systems, and practices.
- Provide administrative support and participate in projects as requested by management.
- Build a library of templates, forms, FAQs, standard email responses, and processes to increase efficiency and service quality.
- Interface with vendors and other departments for data transfers and transactions as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 1-2 years in HR administration.
- Fundamental understanding of basic HR programs and issues, such as benefits plans, EEO, FLSA, incentive compensation, and employee relations.
- Ability to prioritize and organize a substantial workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong consultative and customer service skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Ability to make recommendations to resolve problems using judgment consistent with policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).

The company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $58,000–$88,000, plus opportunity for a company bonus based on a percentage of eligible pay. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range. Factors such as skills, experience, and comparison to existing employees in the role may determine the actual salary.
