Key Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation, assisting with orientation sessions, and collecting exit paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems and personnel files.
  • Help communicate and administer HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Aid in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Afford assistance with employee engagement communications, event logistics, and recognition programs.
  • Aid in compliance tracking, reporting, and audits.
  • Respond to internal HR-related inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage office and breakroom supplies inventory and ensure items are readily available and stocked.
  • Participate in special HR projects and continuous process improvement efforts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 1+ years of Administrative, Customer Service, and HR related field experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with UKG or other HRIS systems a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Preferred

  • Bi-lingual with the ability to speak and understand Spanish.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP).

This position is performed in an environmentally controlled building. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and computer usage.
