Human Resources Assistant
Department: Human Resources. Schedule: Full Time Days, Mon Fri 7:30a-4p. Facility: Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital. Location: Evanston, IL.
Responsibilities
- Processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9/E-Verify.
- Processes status changes, termination paperwork, promotions, and all other changes, obtaining all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS.
- Keeps personnel records up to date.
- Assists with hospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; college degree desired.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- General office and/or Personnel related experience is required.
- 1-2 Years of Healthcare experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.00 to $23.74. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
