Duties/Responsibilities
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification.
- Conducts new hire orientation.
- Maintain up to date job descriptions and recruitment records.
- Cook up open enrollment and benefit communication.
- Maintain and update employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software, experience with Rippling is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Other Duties
- Assimilate into Pioneer’s culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of its service standards.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the service standards.
- Regular attendance in conformance with standards, which may be established by Pioneer from time to time.
