Description

The Human Resources (HR) Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department by handling a range of administrative and operational tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a positive work environment. The HR Assistant will assist with day-to-day HR functions, including managing employee records, scheduling interviews, and supporting recruitment efforts. The position involves working closely with HR team members to ensure smooth HR operations and effective communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative assistance including filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR-related events; coordinate with candidates and employees as needed.
  • Prepare and process HR documents such as employment letters, contracts, and onboarding paperwork.
  • Address basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Maintain and update HR databases and employee information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Afford compliance support by assisting in ensuring HR practices comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Education—High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification in HR or a related field preferred.
  • Experience—Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department, is advantageous.
  • Skills—Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with HR software or databases, ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
