Lifespace Communities is hiring a Human Resources Assistant to help us recruit great people, welcome new team members, support our employees, and create an exceptional workplace experience. This isn’t a role where you’ll spend your entire day filing paperwork. You’ll be involved in the people side of HR, recruiting, onboarding, orientation, employee engagement, HR support, and more.

Responsibilities

• Recruit great people for a variety of positions across the community.
• Keep candidates moving quickly from application to interview to hire.
• Coordinate offers, pre-employment requirements, onboarding, and orientation.
• Build relationships with local schools and community organizations to find new talent.
• Help organize job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting activities.
• Be a go-to HR resource for team members with questions about benefits, leave, policies, timekeeping, and HR systems.
• Help create a great workplace through recognition, engagement, retention, and culture initiatives.
• Support employee communications, town halls, HR projects, and day-to-day HR operations.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and known for getting things done.
• Can juggle multiple priorities without losing the details.
• Communicate confidently and professionally.
• Want to learn, grow, and build a career in Human Resources.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of office or administrative experience preferred, ideally in HR.
• Healthcare, senior living, or hospitality experience is a plus.

Pay

$21.19-$29.15+ Hourly
