About the role

The Talent Acquisition Aide will assist with coordination of the agency-wide talent acquisition plan for full-time, part-time, volunteers, and interns in alignment with the agency’s values. This aide will represent CCPRC at internal and external business meetings, functions, and events to build relationships essential to attracting and retaining a skilled and diverse workforce. This position requires some weekend, evening, and holiday work and is up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Supports recruitment efforts by representing the organization at internal and external hiring events, engaging with prospective candidates, and helping promote employer branding initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains good relationships with candidates, staff, volunteers, and outside agencies.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR division and employees regarding human resources related activities.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED required; two years administrative or clerical work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computers and software in Windows environment (Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), copy machines, telephone systems, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to speak effectively to groups and convey important information about employment with CCPRC.
  • Ability to handle a variety of duties, situations, and changes in a positive manner with the utmost commitment to confidentiality.
  • Ability to deescalate conflict.
  • Knowledge of planning and organizing projects in a timely manner or with short notice.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work effectively with several employees and assist where necessary.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Must pass a drug test and a criminal background check.
  • Shall possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; bend body downward and forward, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear; and push, pull and/or lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in a fast-paced office setting with frequent interruptions and with the need to deal with a great diversity of people. Performs routine duties with moderate supervision following established procedures and deadlines.
