Essential Functions
- Aid in the administration of employee policies.
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to enhance the employee experience.
- Maintain and process personnel records and reports.
- Celebrate employee engagement events and company functions, including logistics, vendor communication, RSVP tracking, and setup and breakdown assistance.
- Interact with and provide information to job applicants, employees, department heads, public and private agencies, and all BSC visitors.
- Offer clerical and operational support to other HR staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee records and information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, staff assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Solid understanding of MS Office.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused attitude, with high levels of professionalism and discretion.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Strong communication skills.
- General knowledge of human resource programs, regulations, and guidelines.
- Experience with administrative and clerical processes and procedures.
- Strong computer, oral, and written communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Additional Considerations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Degree in related field
- Experience with HRIS systems
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
