Demonstrated Responsibilities

  • Drive store objectives and key metrics through high-level ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Communicate openings, recruit, source, review applications, schedule interviews, initiate background checks, and complete the hiring process.
  • Create and conduct an engaging onboarding experience to prepare new hires for service, selling, and operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain a positive store culture by fostering meaningful team connections, celebrating achievements, recognizing contributions, and minimizing risk through shortage control.
  • Manage associate data integrity across company systems and files, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information for compliance, staffing, benefits, scheduling, payroll, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain effective schedules that align with talent, traffic, and business needs, while reviewing associate availability and time-off requests with store leaders.
  • Audit associate timecards for accuracy and track attendance daily.
  • Participate in weekly leadership workload planning meetings to ensure hiring, training, and engagement tasks and assignments are prepared, planned, and scheduled.
  • Utilize talent reporting and data to highlight successes and identify opportunities, enabling leaders to take informed action.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to store team, promptly addressing associate concerns, gathering relevant information, supporting resolution, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Complete daily cash office functions, including processing deposits, completing change orders, maintaining cash funds, and performing audits.
  • Lead shortage control and minimize risk in designated areas, ensuring compliance with asset protection, safety guidelines, and security protocols.

  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to store success by teaching, partnering, and encouraging others.
  • Work self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablet computers, and Windows-based operating systems.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Retail Leadership/HR Management experience and a commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.
  • Bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
