Human Resource Coordinator

This is an in-person position Monday - Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm at Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital, a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited, providing acute care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.

About the role

The Human Resource Coordinator serves as the initial contact for Wellfound employees and candidates, focusing on recruiting and onboarding new hires.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries and provide information about human resources guidelines, policies, regulations, and procedures.
• Manage full-cycle healthcare recruiting and onboarding of new hires.
• Oversee the pre-employment process, including drug screens, background verifications, and reference checks.
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and multitask as needed.
• Work across multiple HR systems.

Requirements

• Associate degree in human resources, human services, or a related field.
• Two years of Human Resource experience, including healthcare recruitment, onboarding, policy interpretation, and HRIS.
• Applied knowledge of human resource best practices in an office environment.

Pay

Hourly rate: $24.58 - $35.82, depending on experience.
