About the role
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be the go-to expert for recruiting and hiring activities across the U.S. and Canada. You'll partner with hiring managers to attract top talent, manage the candidate experience from application to offer, and help shape the future of our workforce. Beyond recruiting, you'll support HR initiatives that enhance employee experience, including onboarding, employee engagement programs, recognition events, compliance activities, and community outreach efforts. You'll work closely with the HR team to ensure accurate employee data, support workforce reporting, and maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies. Responsibilities
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer preparation, and career fair participation.
- Partner with hiring managers and the HR Leader to improve recruiting processes, enhance the candidate experience, and support workforce planning initiatives.
- Manage onboarding activities for new hires, including pre-employment screenings, orientation, employment documentation, system access, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by supporting HR processes, updating policies and documentation, and ensuring required postings and records are maintained.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Coordinate community outreach programs, career fairs, and employee engagement and recognition events to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
Requirements
To be considered, candidates should meet one of the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in a similar role performing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding responsibilities
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree and 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Relevant HR experience in a distribution, sales, and service environment
Skills
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including I-9, E-Verify, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), leave administration, and employment recordkeeping requirements.
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices across the employee lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build effective relationships and provide exceptional service to candidates, employees, and managers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficient, compliant HR and recruiting practices.
